Beef Exports On Fire The Last 5 Weeks

Net sales of 15,700 MT were up 24 percent from the previous week, but down 2
percent from the prior 4-week average. Increases were reported for Japan (7,100
MT), Mexico (2,400 MT), Vietnam (1,900 MT) and South Korea (1,800 MT). Exports
of 12,500 MT--a marketing-year high--were up 9 percent from the previous week
and 16 percent from the prior 4-week average. The primary destinations were
Mexico (3,100 MT), South Korea (2,500 MT), Japan (1,900 MT), and Canada (1,500
MT).
